t-mobile iphone 6s activated by AT&T

I brought a 64g t-mobile iulocked iphone 6s last year, and activated it by my AT&T sim card. It worked well when I plugged sim card from another carrier. However, since there are some trouble with this its battery, it was replaced by a new iphone 6s. I activated this NEW iphone with the same AT&T card. But when I tried to use the sim card from another carrier, it says I need to activate this iphone and it cannot recognized this sim card. But when I plugged that sim card from another carrier into a 64g t-mobile iphone se, it works well

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.1

You replaced it with device that's presumably not unlocked.

I think so, but now I am not in US, do you know whether there are some ways to unlock it officially without going back to US?

There are Some 3rd Party Carrier Unlocking Services or Better to take a Call to T-Mobile & then ask them to Unlock the Device

Unlikely - exchanges are usually like for like if you had a "T Mo" phone originally - then you have a "T Mo" phone now

But see if you can connect with AppleCare via chat - they can tell you who your phone is locked to

There are NO legal or legitimate 3rd party carrier unlocking services.
