why my macbook air 13" battery is lower than 12 hours once I always connect with wifi, battery life only 7 hours was die.

I use my macbook air 13", always connected with wifi and run my e-mail, line and offline program using. I don't know why a battery has to lower than 12 hours as your claim, battery life only 5 hours run to 30%. This is my question.
