Do you or she have a backup copy of all the song files?
Thanks. I will back up on my end and she will do the same. She has her own account now. Will she lose older songs and need to copy them from backup?
BB,
If she has copies of your songs in her own iTunes library, and she syncs her iPhone to that library, she will still have them.
If she needs to download fresh copies, she will not be able to since it requires access to your account. However, you can solve that by putting her new ID and your ID together via Family Sharing:
Ok, Ed. Thanks. I will investigate.
I pay .99 cents a month for my granddaughter to have iTunes but she refuses to pay me so I want to deactivate my account so that it no longer comes out of my bank account.

Linda,
iTunes is free. It does not cost 99 cents a month.
It is possible that your granddaughter has started a subscription of some kind that is being billed to your account. If so, you can find it and cancel it by following this guide:
