May 6, 2016 4:55 PM in response to Michael Blackby indida,Thanks. However, the iPad Pro doesn't have USB. Are you saying to use Wi-Fi to sync the MacBook Air and iPad Pro through iTunes?

May 6, 2016 5:16 PM in response to indidaby Rysz,The iPad came with a Lightning-to-USB cable in the box.
The small Lightening end goes into the iPad. The large USB end goes into your Mac.

May 6, 2016 5:28 PM in response to indidaby Michael Black,Actually, you can sync over wifi but the very first time you will have to plug it in with the included charging/data USB-to-lightening cable. Then you can enable wifi sync if you wish to use that.

May 6, 2016 5:42 PM in response to indidaby elcpu,Do you want all the data from the old iPad into the new one? If so backup your old iPad to your computer using iTunes. Then restore the new one using that backup. Here is how:

May 6, 2016 5:49 PM in response to elcpuby TMHahn,I think they are trying to sync a Macbook Air and the iPad, not an iPad Air.
To the original poster, what do you mean by "transfer data" between your computer and iPad? Do you mean movies and music?

May 6, 2016 5:54 PM in response to TMHahnby elcpu,Yeah you are right so syncing the "data" using iTunes would be the way. Like you I am not sure what they mean by "data" - photos, music, files ???

May 6, 2016 6:49 PM in response to elcpuby TMHahn,I've seen people ask about cloning MacBooks into iPads. I've seen people want to put documents on their iPad. The answer is different depending on what "data," is wanted on the iPad. Might be possible, might not.
You're awesome, elcpu! I always appreciate your answers.
