Any option for a smart playlist on Itunes by file folder?

Hello,

I have sort my music on a file folder and I hope there was any option to have a smart playlist locating on that folder so if I download any song (without changing anything from the file) it would move automatic to the smart playlist.

I know there are options to drag everything and you won't have double's but I was checking if there is any automatic options like the smart playlist.

If Itunes smart playlist just had a "browse file" option it was a lot easier.

p.s. I use a macbook

A3NO,

There is no way to build a rule for a Smart Playlist that is based folder.

As you know, you can drag a whole folder into a regular playlist, and it will properly populate. But it will not automatically keep up with any future changes.

You can create a smart playlist in iTunes based on Date Added.

I'm not sure I understand what "folder" you're referring to. There is a special folder in the iTunes/Music folder that automatically adds anything moved to that folder to iTunes, but you might as well add the files to iTunes.
