    bootcamp is dualboot between windows and osx to switch between the 2 one needs to restart the computer

     

    a virtual machine is mean you can run windows in a window under osx if you wish

    I have Windows 10 installed on my Macbook as a partition. To switch back between OS X and Windows, power on the computer from shut down, hold down the alt/option button until the Apple chime. A screen will pop up asking you which partition you'd like to run, and select the partition with your arrow keys, followed by the enter key.
