Q: i bought a phone second hand a very long time ago. was working perfectly fine and when i recovered the phone recently, it asked for the previous owners info and i dont have any communication with the person anymore.

Unfortunately you have run into the Activation lock

You cannot get past it without the assistance of the prior owner

It's a brick. There is no way to bypass the activation lock.

FYI: Since the day you bought it, the owner of the account it's now locked with has been able to track every move you make via Find My iPhone. They may also have had access to iMessages, your call history, photos, notes, and anything else that was being stored in iCloud...
