How to disable single tap calls from Recent?

I bet 2 cents that this problem appeared to any of you at least once: You browse the recent call list, then you make the call, and the call ends. You don't lock the screen and put back your Iphone in the pocket. But when doing that, one of your fingers touched the screen....and you made your "unwanted call" to one of your last contacts which start hearing all your private business!

I have searched in all phone option and there is no way to disable this ****** "one tap call" from Recent call history!

I can't believe that Apple did not realize that big issue in user experience up to now!

Suggestions? Feedbacks from the community?

I will concur that this feature is an annoyance. I have found myself firing off unintended calls while simply scrolling through the list. Settings should allow user to disable one tap calling if they wish to.

I second the motion. I regularly dial people from the Recents screen thinking I'm in the Voicemail screen (or just accidentally touching the screen while scrolling through recents. I found out tonight that you just can't hang up soon enough to prevent the call from going through.

Yes, I know, but it can happen that you forgot to do it (expecially after an agitated call..) and be sure that the result will be calling someone you don't want to! ;-)

I think that an option in the phone settings "confirm call" could be beneficial!

I have never once made an unintended call with an iPhone and iPhones have been my sole telephones since 2008. So I see this idea of a "confirm call" as a solution in search of a problem.

There is a very simply way; press the HOME or SLEEP key before you put the phone in your pocket.
