Why is my battery cycle count so high?

I have a Macbook Air 11 Inch Early 2014 and the cycle count is 808. The battery condition is normal, though. Why is my cycle count so high and will this cause problems?

MacBook Air, iOS 8.1.2

If you usage requires you to use the computer on battery, the options are limited. If you generally use the computer near an AC outlet, leave it connected to AC. If you need portability, use battery. All batteries are consumable items and will deteriorate over time. Apple batteries are rated to have 80% of capacity at 1000 cycles, some users will get more of a life, others less.
