Should I wear my watch to bed?

So I brought my watch yesterday and update to the latest software, now I'm just wondering if I should sleep with my watch on and if it will drain the battery. I will try and see but like some input from the apple community.

I do the same. It works very well for me. Activity tracking throughout the day and sleep tracking at night. Also I put my watch in theater mode at night while sleeping. Only uses 5-10 percent of battery overnight.

I would not wear the watch around the clock.

Have a look at this page of the user guide: https://help.apple.com/watch/#/apdcf2ff54e9

It says: "Remove Apple Watch periodically to allow your skin to breathe."

Skin sensitivities Some people may experience reactions to certain materials used in jewelry, watches, and other wearable items that are in prolonged contact with their skin. This can be due to allergies, environmental factors, extended exposure to irritants like soap, sweat, or other causes. You may be more likely to experience irritation from any wearable device if you have allergies or other sensitivities. If you have known skin sensitivities, please take special care when wearing Apple Watch. You may be more likely to experience irritation from Apple Watch if you wear it too tightly. Remove Apple Watch periodically to allow your skin to breathe. Keeping Apple Watch and the band clean and dry will reduce the possibility of skin irritation. If you experience redness, swelling, itchiness, or any other irritation or discomfort on your skin around, or beneath, your Apple Watch, please remove Apple Watch and consult your physician before resuming wear. Continued use, even after symptoms subside, may result in renewed or increased irritation.

If you wear the watch at night depends on your usage; personally I wear my apple watch at night but 2 hours before going to bed i let it charge and then waking up i let it charge while taking my morning shower so i start the day with 100 percent battery having worn it all night; another possibility would be that while not young the watch like when swimming you could let it charge.

I use my watch at night because i do sleep tracking but if you d'ont use it for that kind of thing i would let it charge at night so i dont have to carry the charger around
