Size Discrepancy after Mac Migration Assistant

I bought a new MBP and use migration assistant to transfer data from a fresh time machine back of the old mac. After it completed, the new mac hard drive said about 150GB. However, the old Mac says it has only 50GB free.

Considering the single folder that Time Machine was told to ignore, and considering the data in the trash, there is about 25GB of data missing. I haven't spent a lot of time yet figuring out what (if anything) is missing. Is the discrepancy an issue that anyone else has experienced? Should I be worried?
