Q: Nikon D5 raw file shows as unsupported after updating camera raw
I have two computers, an iMac and a Macbook Pro.
I applied the RAW update to the iMac and photos imported flawlessly into Aperture.
I tried to import photos in the same library (on an external drive) to the MacBook Pro and discovered they were unsupported. I told myself oops, deleted the library and installed the RAW update. Ever since I have been trying to import D5 photos into the MacBook Pro (I am not at the iMac's location so I cannot use it) and they have come up as unsupported.
I tried selecting all the photos and clicking on Photos/Reprocess Photos, and it said no photos needed to be reprocessed.
Anyone have any ideas? I know I'm using a dying application but unfortunately I haven't found anything I like better to deal with my photos .
Any recommendations for a replacement other than Lightroom? I would like an app that's compatible with a NAS, and that can at least import star ratings from the Aperture library.
Thanks for any help or ideas.
