Q: AirDrop

Hi,

Im having a problem with airdrop between my macbook and iphone 5s. I have no problem with it before but for the past few weeks my mac suddenly cant detect my iphone whenever i want to airdrop something. Even when its connected and i manage to airdrop photos, i couldnt find the photos in the photos library. Anyone else having the same problem as mine? Please Help

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

    Do the two devices see each other in AirDrop?

    When you AirDrop:

    "Receive items

    If the recipient is signed in to your iCloud account, the item you're sending is automatically accepted and saved. Otherwise, the recipient is asked to accept the item before it's saved to their device.
    "On a Mac, the item is saved to the Downloads folder.
    "On an iOS device, the item appears in the appropriate app. For example, photos appear in the Photos app and websites appear in Safari.'
