Q: bluetooth earphone not connecting to 5s

My Samsung BT earphone no longer works with my iPhone 5s. It was working in March. Now the iPhone cannot find it. Software is iOS 9.3.1. I've tried the usual remedies, power off & on, tried to re sync etc

read the samsung manual as to how you place it into pairing / discern mode

 

and test it by trying to pair it with a computer or other bluetooth device to verify if the headset have broken
