Q: server activation
My iPhone 6s keeps giving me an error message. "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached. Try connecting to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple minutes.' It does not change when I connect to iTunes. Anyone else having issues? It won't refresh apps and says it is not connected to internet when clearly it is. I can turn Wi-Fi on/off and still getting the same problems. It also says it is December 23, 2035 and I'm in Bejing. I took it to my local Apple Genius Bar yesterday (along with 2 of my neighbors who were experiencing same trouble) and was told that it was a Verizon tower issue. I contacted Verizon and was told they have no tower issues to report. My Android family users are not experiencing any problems - just the 2 Apple users in our home. Any suggestions on how to correct this?
