No, I disconnected/turned off the Magic Mouse 2 for the past month and once I turn it on and connect it to the Mac, the MM2 will not respond to gestures.

Reset the SMC on Mac desktop computers
Follow these steps for iMac, Mac mini, Mac Pro, and Xserve.
- Shut down the Mac.
- Unplug the power cord.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in.
- Wait 5 seconds, then press the power button to turn on the Mac.
... then I have done this numerous times since I made my original post. My Mac has been unplugged and moved to different locations a few times since my original post. The MM2 still won't right-click or respond to gestures.
