May 8, 2016 10:25 PM in response to Davesasterby Kenichi Watanabe,Try doing a Restore on the iPod in iTunes. This erases the iPod, reinstalls its software, and sets it to default settings. You said you "tried resetting the iPod" but a Reset is not the same thing as a Restore.
After the Restore, re-sync your songs. If the problem was data corruption, the Restore should fix it. If the problem still occurs after the Restore, the iPod may have a hardware problem, such as a faulty hard drive.
