Q: MacBook Pro 13 Retina SD Card Slot Not Reading.

Hello, my MacBook Pro 13 Retina has had all recent software updates completed as needed- but I just found out that my SD card slot is no longer recognizing my cards.

I tried a hard reboot- no luck.

I tried blowing air into the slot to clean it- no luck.

I'm not sure what else to do. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Reset the PRAM > About NVRAM and PRAM

If that doesn't help, reset the SMC > Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
