When will I need the charging cable?
By far I know the charging cable is needed for Charging, Syncing Music from iPhone, Upgrade, Nightstand Mode.
Anymore?

It's to charge the battery on your Apple Watch only.
Not for syncing music, upgrading, or Nightstand Mode.

This is incorrect.
As you (Christine) are already aware, the charging cable is indeed required in each of these cases.
"Make sure your Apple Watch has at least a 50 percent charge."
Here > Update the software on your Apple Watch - Apple Support
So it still needs to be on the charger if it's at 50% or more?

Yes.
At least a 50% charge level is required initially, but the watch must also remain on the charger throughout:
"Connect your Apple Watch to power, and keep it on the charger until the update is complete."

Hi Christine
During normal usage, those are the only times when you will need the charging cable (along with either the USB Power Adapter or a powered USB port).
