CPU zu heiss

Hallo zusammen,

Programm : istat

Prozessor: 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.5), Prozessor: 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5

First reset the SMC:

Run an Apple Hardware Test. It may offer some useful information.

Note that an error free AHT is not conclusive.

Open Activity Monitor to ALL PROCESSES and set CPU to display values from high to low.

When the Macbook Air gets hot, post images of the Activity Monitor display and the temperature and fan speed information.

Ciao.

The temperatures are very high for the open applications that are displayed in the Activity Monitor.

Activity Monitor itself is using the most resources. Is there a temperature reduction when you shut it down?

There is a possibility that there is dirt and debris inside the Macbook Air that is inhibiting cooling. Open it up and inspect it or have it done at an Apple store.

Did you run the Apple Hardware Test? Any results?

Ciao.
