USB IPAD 3RD

When I go to use my flash drive ,and input Photos to my Ipad, using my Apple photo connector, it gives me a warning.


USB FLASH DRIVE, THE CONNECTED DEVICE REQUIRES TO MUCH POWER???


Will someone please help me on this, and explain. Have not be able to input my photos to my IPAD

Which "Apple photo connector" do you have? If you have this kit http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MC531AM/A/apple-ipad-camera-connection-kit

you can use one of the adapters with an SD card directly or you can use the other adapter by connecting to your camera using USB. Neither supports file transfer from a USB flash drive.
