ho un iphone 6s plus 64Gb con Firmware 9.3.1
Quando ho il cell sotto copertura wi-fi e posiziono il cell in stand-by, la rete wi-fi si disconnette, analoga cosa avviene con l'ipad.
La cosa antipatica è che non posso ripondere al cellulare con ipad visto che l'iphone si trova senza connessione.
E' normale un comportamento del genere?
well, paying that big money for a phone and not being able to simply choose if I want to deactivate wifi when in stand by or not really stinks. I mean, common sense would let you think that apple can easily place an option into the wifi menù to regulate it as the customer wants it to be. But, no, you just have to stick with what apple decided for you, and getting this very annoying issue (you're not always able to get a power plug when you're in public).....very very poor behavior.

iOS devices disconnect from wifi by default when on sleep to conserve battery life. To prevent this connect to power, wifi will stay on.

Già fatte tutte queste prove, lo fa anche con ipad comprato due giorni fa e neanche importato il backup.
Su alcuni siti leggo che è normale in quanto il cell cerca di risparmiare la batteria, ma a me sembra una cretinata.....
To Rockstar: No amount of resetting will change this. All iOS devices by design disconnect from Wi-Fi when sleep to conserve power.
To the OP: This is indeed normal as leaving the Wi-Fi on when on sleep will consume battery life. If you want to avoid this just connect to power. Or ignore, the phone reconnects to Wi-Fi very quickly after it is awake.
In the same network I have one iPad and with this solutions I cannot ansare with iPad, because iPhone when sleep, don't have wi-fi
Not sure what you are trying to do. Connect your iPhone to a power outlet and Wi-Fi will stay on even when on sleep.
IT's very very absurd.....
Not in the opinion of Apple and most of the users who appreciate a long battery life that lasts all day or more. As I mentioned, all you would have to do is leave it connected to power. But to each his own... 🙂
for me it's incredible.... In this situation, i can't answer with my iPad. Mah!!!!
