How can I restore a deleted event instance to the day from which it was deleted?
Setup:
- Create a repeating event (set repeat to Weekly, MTWTF).
- Slide Thursday's event to a new time (when asked to change all or just this instance, select just this instance)
- Delete the event (at that point iCal doesn't ask me anymore about the series)
Now, how can I then reset the series so it refills that day? It seems no matter how I fiddle with repeating settings, it will never re-establish itself on that day - it's forever disconnected: even moving the original back into the time slot doesn't reconnect it to the series.
I'm sure if I just delete the entire event and start over it'll work, but that seems like such a brain-dead way to do stuff that I'm hoping there's a better way.
