No, you're going to have to do that by hand. Resetting the home screen layout, by the way, would not put all of the apps in alphabetical order, only the ones you installed.

What I do when I feel the need to do a wholesale rearrangement of my apps is to create a folder and name it TBD. On each screen, I move all the apps I want to move into that folder. Then, I only have to move that folder from screen to screen. You could so something similar by creating, for example an A-G folder, move the apps beginning with those letters into that folder, moving that folder to the first screen and then unpacking. It's still a bit time consuming and fiddly but it works for m.

thanks for the suggestions, I am aware it only alphabetizes installed apps, I already do something like what you suggest except I keep it in the dock and then using nesting folders, but its still a pain, I download tons of apps and things get moved all over the place, my best bet is to find a way to keep folders intact while resetting the home screen.

I have never used the home screen reset function personally - don't believe I have had reason to but I would hope that nested folders do not survive that

With english not being my first language - I see "Reset Home Screen Layout" to mean - put it back to the way it was when I first unboxed the new phone

That did not have folders, so, at least in my humble opinion, it is working as designed
