May 10, 2016 12:05 AM in response to Keith Barkleyby tupelo080135,Thanks I had to find out how to do screenshot. The camera is a Pansonic DMC-FZ45 and a Nikon D3200. The symbol that appears I have taken a screenshot off, also another post said to go to edit and then image and select use RAW, but as you can see from the screenshot it does not allow this operation. As for shooting in RAW I don't even know what RAW is as i have just got the cameras from my daughter and trying out photography. I checked the camera menu but can't see anything saying RAW.

May 10, 2016 6:27 AM in response to tupelo080135by LarryHN,that is an indication that the connection between the master photo and the thumbnail has been broken - have you used the finder to delete any photos from the Photos librry or run any system cleaning software like CleanMyMac, MacKeeper or other (DO not use cleaner software - it is not needed and is dangerous)

May 10, 2016 7:17 AM in response to tupelo080135by Keith Barkley,Then have her switch them to shooting JPEGs, they are much easier to work with and as you grow into it you can switch back to RAW if desired.
(A Raw file is just a dump of all the data from the camera when you take the picture, allowing you to have more latitude in creating an image. The JPEG has some decisions made - like color fidelity - that gets rid of some of the information, but most cameras now a days create gorgeous JPEGS, and RAW is rarely needed.)

Then why do you state that you are using RAW? You probably need to read the camera manuals to learn how to use the cameras
as at to the ! in the triangle we still need the details and the rest of the answers to my original questions - when you refuse to supply information it makes us guess rather than actually answer - you have still only answered 3 of 6 questions

And now that you have added the additional new information that you have two cameras do photos from both exhibit the same problem?
