Creating a how to video in iMovie that is strictly an iPhone screen.
Issue I am having is that when the video is put on a webpage, it has the black bars on either side and doesn't really work well when put on a webpage.

This is my first time playing with iMovie so I'm very green.

iMovie only displays in 16x9 format. What you might try is to rotate your clips and then share. Open your shared movie in Quicktime and rotate back. See if that helps. It works fine with stills but I haven't tried it with video clips.
