Q: iPhone 6s looses receiver audio.

My brand new iPhone 6s will intermittently loose audio through the earpiece speaker.  This shouldn't have anything to do with the vibrator on/off switch.  I checked my volume and it's ok.  I haven't ever dropped it and I don't keep it nearby when I am showering (steam and the like). 

I'm pretty good with treating my phone well.  I had my 5s for 3 years with no issues.  It's definitely a software issue because it comes back when I power cycle the phone.  If this was just a one time thing then I wouldn't be annoyed, but it has happened a handful of times and I just bought my phone 2 months ago.

Any suggestions would be welcome... Serious suggestions anyway.
