You can have a podcast of which some episodes are video and some audio, no problem at all. Obviously make sure that the 'type' attribute in the 'enclosure' tag is correct for the type of video - some podcast creation methods will do that automatically for you. The files must be .m4v, .mov or .mp4 file (not Windows Media, RealMedia, Flash or YouTube videos).

That's great to hear!  Do you happen to have any recommendations for sites that are compatible to host podcast files that support both audio/ video?

Any normal webspace should be OK provided it can handle 'byte range requests'. If you already have an audio podcast going, just add the video episodes to it in the normal way.
