I have a Mac Mini with X10, El Capitan. 8GB and 1T fusion drive.

For my first time I inserted a 32 gb SD Card and nothing happened. What is the correct procedure for viewing photos and videos?

Mac mini, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

Which model of Mac Mini do you have? Older models couldn't read SDHC cards such as you 32gB.

Does the SD card show in Disk Utility?

If so what is listed about the card?

Posting a screenshot would be useful
