English Keyboard Font Style

Can you change the iPad and iPhone English keyboard font style so that the small version of the letter L which is l and the large version of the letter i which is I do not look exactly the same. For example lI is really Li ? I think the Times New Roman font has the correct capital letter I.

Here in ASC, the advanced editor has several fonts - switching now

- if you notice, the lower case L is taller than the Upper case I = Iliad = in whatever the "display font" is for the forum with out "choosing"

EYEs - ELLs

Arial is stock = I i - L l

Anadale Mono = I i - L l

Arial Black(?) = I i - L l

Book Antiqua = I i - L l

Calibri = I i - L l

Comic Sans = I i - L l

Courier New = I i - L l

Georgia = I i - L l

Helvetica = I i - L l

Impact = I i - L l

Symbol = I i - L l

Tahoma = I i - L l

Terminal = I i - L l

Times New Roman = I i - L l

Trebuchet MS = I i - L l

Verdana = I i - L l

Webdings = I i - L l

Wingdings = I i - L l

I must say, some of these do not appear to be working as advertised... I would say that ANY Serif font should give you the distinction for which you yearn - Iliad - italics are often a completely different kettle of fish in the same FONT (not just SLANTED)

VERDANA has a distinct difference I l <(eye ell)

Figured as much...

San Francisco is a neo-grotesque sans-serif typeface made by Apple Inc. It was first released to developers on November 18, 2014.[1][2] It was used first as the system typeface of the Apple Watch, and later replaced Helvetica Neue as the system typeface of OS X and iOS with OS X El Capitan and iOS 9.[3][4][5] It is also the system typeface of tvOS, starting with the 4th generation Apple TV.[6] It is the first new typeface designed at Apple in nearly 20 years.[1]

Helvetica Neue is said to have been Steve Jobs favorite FONT (at least at one time)

Another example is the book title "The Iliad and the Odyssey." The word proper name "iliad" starts with a capital iiiiiii not I.

If you write the sentence:

All illnesses in New Jersey are caused by Murder Incorporated.

That looks correct.

But the word "illnesses" looks incorrect with a capital I.

Illnesses in New Jersey are caused by Murder Incorporated.

It looks like 3 "l" because the capital letter I needs its horizontal line on the top and on the bottom like in Times New Roman font.

Dear Apple Engineers,

Please consider an alternative English font for keyboard and reading or just change the capital I.

The iPad is a great invention.

Thank you.
