Q: MacBook Pro Pixels Smeared

My daughters friend has a macbook pro and the screen suddenly started to look like this. Has anyone seen this before? I'm wondering if it is the video card failing, maybe resetting the PRAM.

Could be the graphics card...

It wouldn't hurt to try a PRAM reset > How to Reset NVRAM

If that doesn't help, run the Apple Hardware Test.
