I have gone onto the support section because whenever I mirror my iPad or Macbook, the video playback is extremely choppy. I have tried to disable the WMM support, and this just made the problem MUCH worse.
We use Comcast Xfinity internet, with a Netgear modem and was hoping that someone would be able to help as we just cannot watch anything through mirroring currently.

First, you definitely need WMM. On Netgear routers, turning it off seems to drop the WiFi to 54 Mbps.

If you still have problems, please answer these questions:
Are all devices on WiFi?
Are you using a 5 GHz network (802.11ac)? There's a lot less interference on 5 G, and it's faster also.
Can you check for WiFi interference? See Potential sources of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth interference - Apple Support
Are you actually using mirroring (iPad screen appears on TV) or normal AirPlay? In normal AirPlay, ATV connects directly to the internet server, and your problem may be caused by a slow internet connection. How does it work using the ATV apps, like YouTube?
