50 video limit on iCloud for iMovie Theater and Apple TV?

Has anyone else found a work around to resolve this silly iCloud / Apple TV limitation?

I was told today by Apple Support that sharing more than 50 movies to iCloud causes Apple TV to not recognize iMovie Theater. The error received is "Cannot Connect to iMovie Theater. There may be a problem with iCloud or your internet connection. Try again later."

I had uploaded 160 movies to iCloud, and am disappointed that after reducing to less than 50 files, the same error is still received. I have logged in and out of iCloud multiple times on Apple TV, and restarted multiple times. My method for reducing files below 50 was to click "remove from iCloud" from within the iMovie app on my MacBook Pro. (rather than "deleting" the files from the "Theater" tab of iMovie). I am using iMovie 10.1.2, and 4th Generation Apple TV.
