eHighLighter app for iOS 6 just purchased and not working

Hi all,


I'm frustrated. I'm trying to contact this seller, but the app support button on the phone doesn't work, their website doesn't work, etc. Evernote was kind enough to find me their Twitter account: no reply. Anyway: I bought the app less than a week ago, and every time I open it, after a few seconds it says, "cannot connect to your server". I've tried closing the app and re-opening it, I've tried taking it off the phone and putting back on, etc. Has anyone else had this problem? Evernote is promoting this app in their "App Central" section of third-party apps, but both Apple and Evernote says I need to contact Research Habits Digital LLC (eHighLighter). Help?

Hi Parker - I too purchased the app yesterday. I can't understand why it's *still* listed on the app store given you've publicly acknowledged it's being offline since May last year... Regardless, please issue me a refund too (apple username: **** [at] gmail.com) - and might do your reputation some good to actually pull the app off the app store in the meanwhile, and maybe even put a helpful informative banner up at the old URL.

First, I've asked the hosts to remove your email address - it is ill advised, dangerous, and violates the ToU.


Second, blaming Apple for someone else's product doesn't make a lot of sense. Apple sells other people's stuff - if you will read the terms, they do not assume any responsibility - you cannot expect them to test thousands and thousands of apps for compatibility, etc.

Hey! This is Parker. eHighlighter is my app. First off, so sorry about this. eHighilghter was my first development project, and is still my baby, but haven't made any money on the thing. I still love it and plan to support it, but something happened with my hosting company a couple weeks ago and my server has vanished. I run a highlllly seasonal business (AllCollegeStorage.com) and I'm deep in the college move out process and I just haven't been able to dedicate any time to this recently.


I would be happy to refund your payment while I sort this out. Thank you for for your understanding!
