Q: if I turn off imessage on my iphone will my friends using imessage still get my texts

I want to turn off imessage on my daughters phone because it uses data to send. Will her friends that us imessage still get her texts?

Yes they can get Text Messages

iMessage will switch to SMS when the recipient cannot access iMessage. Please see this guide for suggestions on usage.
