Did you click on the "unfollow" in every thread/community that you've posted in?

I have email notifications turned off so I don't know what they say; however, there are several places here and one of them is the fact that any time you post anything, you are following that thread, as you (and I) are this one right here. Look toward the top of the page:

If you do not want to follow this, you need to click the "following". And, if you don't want emails, you need to click on your name and go to everything at the bottom - preferences, subscriptions, privacy, and change settings to your liking. As I said, I am automatically "following" the thread, but I am not getting any emails at all. So, it depends on what you want to be notified of.

I think I may have figured it out. I found my original post..saw the blue following button...clicked it thinking it would change to unfollow...but I saw it turn grey. I repeated it again...this time I left it grey..I hope it works...I am very new to this place...have had my iPad 3 since late 2012...and an iPhone 4S shortly after they came out...I love both of them but probably don't use them to their fullest extent.

    Thanks for all the help..
