Q: can I delete some photos from one iOS device?

Can I delete some photos from just one iOS device ,(ipad2 with iOS 7.4) in order to

clear space to upgrade to latest iOS and get the photo library?

iPad 2, iOS 7.0.4

    With iOS 7.4 you do not have iCloud Photo Library ON, so, Yes, you can delete them. Just make absolutely sure you successfully imported your images to your computer first.

     

    Take a look at Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Storage > Manage Storage and see what's consuming your storage and can be deleted.
