photos from my mac on taking up iPhone storage

I just got a mac and put all my photos on it. So to free up iPhone 5 storage (I'm very low) I deleted almost all photos, since they are on my mac. But some of the photos from my mac are in random folders ( labeled "Blank from Mac") I don't want the pictures on my phone, but it won't let me delete them. How do i get those random photos off my iPhone 5 but make sure they stay on my mac? The photos are taking up a lot of storage on my phone.

If you are syncing with iTunes on your Mac, deselect the photos you don't want to have in the photo pane, sync again and the photos will be gone from the photo app on the phone, but they will be still on the Mac.
