Q: "Episode unavailable" podcast app (iPod)

I Have been sear for an answer to this question for some time now and have seen many threads with similar questions but no good answers.

IN the podcasts app on my iPod I will download a few episodes at home using wifi and then when I go to listen to them the next day at work it says "episode unavailable" not sure why this is happening, everything is up to date and the cloud icon is not beside the episode on the left meani it has been downloaded and the blue dot is lit up meaning it is unplayed. The only solution I could find is to remove the download and download the episode again. This doesn't always do me any good as I do not al have access to wifi at work. Any hep on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

iPod touch, iOS 9.3.1

    The standard answers would be to Reset and Restore your device, but in my experience, this rarely had any effect on these podcasts issues.

    What finally brought relief for me was to:

    - Stopping any and all synchronization between devices and iTunes;

    - Unsubscribing all podcasts, then deleting them from the device;

    - Resetting the device at that point;

    - Resubscribing to the podcasts on the device.
