I am finding it very tedious to download each individual song, one at a time. I came from Spotify to Apple music and I can't find a way to download all the songs at once. Could you please help?

It sounds like you are trying to add either an entire album, or an entire playlist to your iPhones music library, rather than do each song one by one. Adding the whole playlist or album is similar to adding a song. When you see the album under For You or New, tap the album itself rather than the play button to get the option to add it to your library.
