I have tried everything to get it out of demo mode. using the screen and the button, brings up the menu. But when I try to turn off the move it doesn't work. Can anyone help? I have an expensive wrist decoration right now.

No, I am afraid I did not.
If you have a watch in "demo mode", take it back to where you go it. Those have special firmware on them for demonstration purposes and are NOT intended to be sold at all. Someone at the store where you bought it screwed up. If you bought it second hand, i.e. from an individual, there is a good chance it was stolen from Apple or another retailer.

You don't. Not unless you have a demo/display phone that was stolen from Apple or an authorized retailer.
This happened to me, what are my options? I out a good chunk of money and Iknow what I did was dumb. I bought the watch for my wife as a gift.
Return the watch to the seller for a refund.
