Q: Can I run Windows 10 on my Macbook Pro Early 2011?

Apple says it's not supported, but I think I could get it to work. Other posts are doing and upgrade from their existing Windows 8.1/7, but I need to do a clean install. Can I do it? If so, bootcamp or virtual machine?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4), 15 inch, early 2011

You can upgrade from a fully activated W7/W8.1 to W10, and then use BC Assistant to remove the upgraded installation and use a physical DVD (not a USB) to install W10 using BC Assistant. You will not have certified W10 drivers, but you can use BC5 drivers in Compatibility mode.

Hi there no you would not be able to. Here is the article if you look further down you will see what computers are supported.
