Q: Does GarageBand for iPhone recognize a midi keyboard input?

I'm looking for an app where I can play notes on a midi keyboard (connect to my iPhone with the USB cable) (lightning) and have the notes displayed on the musical staff (treble / bass) and also record the notes that I'm playing. (similar to what you can do when connecting a midi keyboard to a MacBook Pro, for example)

Does GarageBand for iPhone recognize a midi input?

If so, is there some setting that I need to turn on? It didn't work when I tried.

Or is there another app out there that would display the notes on the staff and allow me record the notes?
