Q: My Podcast Only Shows Episodes 1 to 10

Hi folks, I've a podcast goes out to iTunes and Stitcher weekly, I've all 11 episodes showing in Stitcher but not showing in iTunes. Also, I took the mirror feed url from iTunes Connect and tested in in a feed validator and all 11 episodes are showing, so that tells me iTunes is picking up the number of episodes correctly. I took the feed url from my site and tested that in feed validator too and it's all good also.

 

Any ideas why only 10 episodes are showing in iTunes store?

Does your website create your podcast feed, or do you use a podcast host?

 

Your website may be limiting the episodes that are allowed in your feed. If you are using Wordpress, check Settings > Reading > Syndication Feed Show... to see if it is set to only 10.

Consider speaking with your website administrator, or the creator of your podcasting plugin (if you are using one).

    If you are using Wordpress/PowerPress, go to WordPress settings > reading and set "Syndication feeds show the most recent" to 100 or so. 

     

    Then in Powerpress settings > feeds tab make sure the "Show the most recent" is either blank or the same as you set above.

     

    Give iTunes and other aggregators a few days to update your listing.
