Q: Photos will not show up in the inspector

I've done MANY keynote presentations, however, not since iPhotos went to Photos and I feel that may be why they are showing up blank like my attachment.  Any ideas, because it will be a bear going outside the inspector and searching for the correct photo for my presentations.

Thanks.Photos not opening in keynote inspector.png

This is a sign that the library database is corrupt, try repairing the Photos library as follows:

    1. Quit  Photos and Keynote applications
    2. back up the Photos library:    drag and drop the Photos library to an external drive (your home folder > Pictures > Photos Library)
    3. hold down Command+Option keys, then double click the Photos application in the Applications folder
    4. When the Repair Library message appears in the app “You are about to repair the library “Library Name” – click the  “Repair”  button
    5. enter your password
    6. Let the repair process complete, when finished Photos will open
    7. test Keynote

Gary, I did this and it didn't work.  I shut down my computer and started again.  I looked in my Photos and many photos were duplicated like 7 times. It appears Photos is listed under iPhotos in Keynote (which is updated) so I don't know if that would have anything to do with it.  My Photo Library is labelled Photo Library 3.  Here is another screen shot of it when I try to open from within Keynotes.  Now I'm not sure what to do.  Any more ideas?

I noticed this was not the normal PHOTOS image selection but was too hurried in replying.

You need to set PHOTOS to use the correct library:

with the Option key pressed, double click PHOTOS in the Applications folder, then select the correct library in the chooser, there should be at least two to choose from. If it does not open the correct one you can repeat the procedure.

Gary, here's the situation now.  I had at least 3 Photo Libraries in the choose library (after clicking on Applications PHOTOS and holding down the app)...so since I just chose the Photos Library 3 (the one with my most current folders) and keynote still looked blank with lots of folders I chose the vanilla PHOTOS Library and ended up with the screen shots below...no photos at all in Keynote and the "wrong" out of date photos in PHOTOS.  What a mess.  Can you try and tell me what I should have done or still can do?now PHOTOS are not my current library but another one.pngnow no Photos in Keynotes.png
