If you can't get the Mac OS X version of them(where applicable), use Boot Camp, VirtualBox, Parallels Desktop, CrossOver Mac, or similar software.

You can purchase Adobe Photoshop for Mac. Requirements here >   https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html

Adobe Page Maker is outdated and won't run on any current Windows or Mac operating systems.

All old Adobe applications have been replaced with new ones that are fully compatible with newer Macs and OS X. Pagemaker is now called InDesign. It and PhotoShop are also part of the Adobe CS suite of applications for OS X. You do not need Windows.

The Apps and solutions mentioned by Niel are excellent. Boot Camp, though, requires separate log-on on boot and can't run in a 'virtual box' in Mac OSX.

Some 'free' alternatives might eventually be WineBottler, Wineskin and Wine. The first is very simple - in particular if You only want to run a few Windows Apps as a Mac Apps.

Yes it can.  Both Parallels and Fusion can run a windows environment installed via Boot Camp.

So then buy the Mac version of Photoshop and InDesign. What's the problem? PageMaker hasn't been around in over a decade.

.. *LOL* .. Correct! .. Virtual maschines INSTALLED via Boot Camp! .. but NOT MS Windows Apps running in Boot Camp per se .. .. Boot Camp is not a virtual maschine under OSX ..

I think you are not understanding the difference between a virtual machine and Boot Camp and how each works.

You can install a virtual machine in OSX and run Windows in the virtual machine.

You can install and run Windows natively using Boot Camp on your Apple computer.

If you already have Windows installed natively using Boot Camp you can then install a virtual machine in OSX and use the Boot Camp installed Windows as the virtual machine's target system. IE use the Boot Camp installed Windows from within the virtual machine.

Yes .. Exactly .. you need a virtual maschine to run the installed Windows within OSX - i.e. without rebooting into it's (Windows) own environment - Boot Camp .. which is what VirtualBox, Parallels Desktop and CrossOver Mac does .. for 'stand-alone' Windows Aps WineBottler, Wineskin and Wine ..
