Q: if i backup my phone from itunes will i loose my contacts?

When i plug my iphone into my laptop and itunes starts to sync abd backup if i restore my phone from itunes backup will i loose my contacts?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.1

    Hey Michael,

    I understand that you have a question regarding your backup and your contacts. Let's go over that information to clear this up for you. 

    I would always pay attention to your sync settings first before syncing. No, you would not losing anything. When you back up your iPhone through iTunes, you will have a copy of nearly all the data that is on your iPhone. If you sync your contacts through a syncing service, like iCloud, Gmail or work email, then those items will be located there.
