Q: Storage almost full: 204.81 GB of Movies that don't exist?
Hi, so I have a MacBook Pro and it keeps notifying me that my storage is almost full. However I have one folder that contains 31 images and 2 mp3 files and then the programs i have installed: Google Chrome, VLC Player, Spotify, Android File Transfer and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook. When i click on the storage tab in "About This Mac" it tells me that i have 204.81 GB of MOVIES and only 3 GB free in total.
It is showing up as:
MOVIES: 204.81 GB
OTHER: 24.39 GB
APPS: 9.39 GB
AUDIO: 7.35 GB
PHOTOS: 813.5 MB
BACKUPS: 19.7 MB
I have read to go through iMovie, iPhoto etc and delete all files, and i have and all that did was clear up tiny bit of room, I cannot figure out why it says i have 204.81 GB of Movies. Do other things that I have installed classify as movies, how do i get rid of this?
MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), hard drive, usb, not showing up.
