Q: Should I include the SIM card when selling my Verizon iPad?

No not if you want to keep that number or use simcard in another ipad?

Has simcard been part of a contract deal with a network provider ?

The iOS devices do not store information on the SIM

However the new recipient would need to discard it anyway since it would not be of use to them - and you may have another use for it down the road

Who knows but why risk it? I'd remove it if it were mine.

Good decision. As I said earlier, I'd remove the SIM even if it means losing a few bucks (lower resale value).

SIM cards are not reusable - at least ones used for Phones - not sure about the data only SIM for tablet but pretty sure the potential risk is not worth a few dollars extra upfront

The only purpose of a sim is to tie a phone to a contract so unless you will keep paying for the contract after the sale the sim will be of no value to anybody
