iPad Pro 9.7 inch lag and stutter during game

Hi all,

I've had an iPad Pro 9.7 inch for 6 days now and I've had instances where the app/game I'm using/playing wiill just stutter/lag for a few seconds randomly.

Noticed it in hungry shark world and also just now for a few seconds, maybe 5 or so, in plants vs zombies 2.

its going fast/smooth then it just seems laggy and choppy for a while then seems to go back to normal

Never happened with my iPad Air 1.

Something to to do with the iPad Pro or maybe un optimised games or iOS 9?

Anyone else?

OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

Could be a lot of thngs.

First, could be a variable speed in your Internet/Wifi connection slowing you down, if there is a lot of Internet traffic during different intervals of the day.

You could try turning off iDevice resource hogging activities.

Make sure you don't have a lot of apps running in the background in the iOS App Switcher, if you do, slide each app up to quit them.

Turn off Background App Refresh to stop apps from updating in the background.

Turn on Reduced motion to minimise all of the iOS motion graphics eye candy. This, alone, will improve iOS performance.

If you use any Bluetooth devices, but aren't always using them, make sure to turn off Bluetooth for the time being.

Set your iOS Mail app to fetch mail at longer intervals OR set to manual fetch to only get mail when you launch the Mail app or when you just, manually checking mail.

If you wish, limit what apps get Notifications and use Location Services to cut down on background activities.

All of these things will improve performance and save battery life, too!

Good Luck!
